Chris was a dear friend and loving mother of 5 children. Her first born twin girls are every bit as beautiful as Chris was. She had three fine looking boys after that. She and Tom Maples can be proud of the legacy she left behind. She was the perfect mom. She died in the late 90's in an automobile accident. Her brother Joe James is still married to my sister Jackie and they live in Amarillo.
I have been in touch with Chris' daughter Kellie and am hoping to have some photos of Chris' family at the Reunion.
Chris and I shared many great times during High School. I don't want to give away all of our secrets so that's all I will say.
Then for several years when she and Tom lived in Dimmitt we spent quite a bit of time together during the summers when I would visit my folks. My daughter Amy is about the same age as her twin girls.
