going to school and teaching.

After reading everyone's information, I thought that I was too brief. My daughter got her masters in physical therapy and works at North West Texas Hospital. Her husband got the master's of instructional technology and is a computer info specialist at Region 16 service center. I have a 4 year old grandson,Jack. We sure need another grandchild to adopt if you know of one!
My son is working at a hospital in Rapid City S.D. as an emt. He starts paramedic school this fall. He came to the er by way of being a fireman and emt. He likes the hospital better than the fire dept. There is no waiting around at the hospital like the fire dept. It is constant which he likes. My daughter-in-law is an RN in critical care there.
I have been married to the best husband possible since 1972. He is the office manager for a finance company. He probably plans to work forever, but I retired in May. He is also a nationally ranked women's gymnastics judge. He spends lots of weekends judging women's gymnastics. He is the highest ranked male in Texas who judges women.
I taught science, math, and English. I ended up teaching science the longest. I was department head for many years and really enjoyed helping the other teachers in the department. I was teaching the gifted kids for the most part, but fewer and fewer wanted to work each year which makes it hard to be challenging. I truly believe a good day teaching is the best, but it is lots of work if you are trying to drag a bunch of people with you.

I had no idea that Beth Ann put that photo of us in. We were at Palo Duro Canyon and hot. This year we already had a house rented in Ruidosa during the reunion time. Tommie, Beth Ann, and I are trying to go a few places together now that our kids are all raised. They invited my husband this year! I will be thinking of all of you at the reunion and wishing you a safe and happy time. I will really miss the chance to see Mr. Diehl. He was the best teacher I ever had!! Mary Lee
